This hour is one of a ten-hour live workshop. In this hour, Dr. Liebenson teaches seven exercises that provide a qualitative set of tests that allow the clinician to grade fundamental movements and eventually correct specific functional abnormalities. In addition, he covers pain as a symptom and finding in the assessment process and Gray Cook’s strategy and scoring methods used to set and assess the goals and effectiveness of care.

Faulty movement patterns can lead to chronic disease and instability in the average person and the elite athlete. This hour can be taken alone but would be best if taken in sequence with the entire course. In the 10-hour course, Dr. Liebenson teaches how to detect and ultimately correct these faulty movement patterns allowing the average person and the elite athlete to reach their full potential while reducing the risk of injury.

Learning Objectives

The participant will be able to guide the patient through a testing procedure that reveals fundamental dysfunctions. In addition, they will be able to recommend exercises that will ultimately correct these abnormalities and improve performance.
