This hour covers the essential information necessary to manage patients with a diagnosis of trauma. Dr. Cronk covers the topics of whiplash, the role of x-ray in spinal trauma, the diagnosis of spinal instability and subluxation, the role of manipulation in the unstable spine, chronic pain, the AMA Impairment guidelines, the dynamic model of subluxation, and the effectiveness of chiropractic care.

The participant will be able to define key terms used in the management of spinal trauma, explain the role and effectiveness of manipulation in the unstable spine, and cite sources to support the management of trauma patients.
